Description
The assignment was to do a positive portrayal of night time. Something pretty and warm and comforting.....so, being that I'm from Minnesota, and a nature nut, I wanted to do something with the Northern Lights. Okay. And a big pretty moose in a lake. Okay.
The thing that amazes me is that when I brought this into class, not only did my class mates not know this was a moose (not a deer, or a reindeer), but my professor failed to recognise the northern lights reflected in the water.
I am so not in Kansas anymore.

To be fair, moose ARE deer. They're a member of the cervine family just like reindeer, white tails, fallow deer, mule deer, roe deer, etc~
Pretty sad that they couldn't recognise it as a moose though, the anatomy and rack are stunning!
