This semester I was also involved with a special class sponsored by the people who are remodeling and expanding the Lincoln Park casino in Rhode Island. The purpose was (as a class) to design and execute a large mural for the entryway of the casino. We spent most of the semester doing small study type work to show the design team.

Mural Design for the Lincoln Park Project, featuring a sort of Biblical scene with Eve and the serpent in a rather sinister-looking tree. The original idea was to have representative icons for the sins of man embedded in the bark, but it was shot down pretty early. I am fond of the colors though.

Wow, I like the way the sinuous movement of the snake is echoed in the twisting sprawling treeroots.

You should do a big oil painting out of that, looks amazing!

Holy crap. This has to be one of my favorite portrayals of this concept. (even though I don't really see it done that often) Bravo, you have an amazing style.

The color handling is great in this piece, and I love the way the tree looks.

That would make a spectacular mural. I love the unique, massively built tree, and the albino python. This, and for similar reasons the blue-toned cormorant one are my favorites.

You know, this is the first Adam & Eve image I've ever seen in which the serpent is a boa. They've always been less than two feet long and very scrawny. I wonder why that is . . .

Great work, the tree definitely looks sinister.
